List of Assam Cabinet Ministers and Their Portfolios  2021,

Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as the 15^th Chief Minister of Assam on 10^th May, 2021, Monday. Additionally, portfolios of 13 other cabinet ministers have been allotted.

List of cabinet ministers along with their respective portfolios are as follows:

Himanta Biswa Sarma: Home, PWD, Personnel, and other departments those are not allotted yet.

Ranjit Kumar Dass (MLA –Patacharkuchi Constituency): Panchayat and Rural Development, Food & Civil Supplies, Public Health Engineering, and Consumer Affairs.

Atul Bora (MLA –Bokakhat Constituency): Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Horticulture, Border Area Development, Implementation of Assam Accord, Cooperation.

Urkhao Gwra Brahma (MLA –Chapaguri Constituency): Soil Conservation, Cooperation Handloom and Textile, Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes (BTC).

Chandra Mohan Patowary (MLA –Dharmapur Constituency): Transport, Industries & Commerce, Welfare of Minorities and Skill Development.

Parimal Shuklabaidya (MLA –Dholai Constituency): Fisheries, Environment & Forests, and Excise.

Keshab Mahanta (MLA –Kaliabor Constituency): Science & Technology, Health & Family Welfare, Information Technology.

Ranuj Pegu (MLA –Dhemaji Constituency): Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes (non-BTC), and Education.

Ashok Singhal (MLA –Dhekiajuli Constituency): Irrigation, Urban Development, and Guwahati Development.

Jogen Mohan (MLA –Mahmara Constituency): Mines & Minerals, Hills Area Development, and Revenue & Disaster Management.

Sanjay Kishan (MLA –Tinsukia Constituency): Labour & Employment, and Welfare of Tea Tribes.

Ajanta Neog (MLA –Golaghat Constituency): Finance, and Social Welfare.

Pijush Hazarika (MLA –Jagiroad Constituency): Water Resources, Information & Public Relations, Parliamentary Affairs.

Bimal Bora (MLA –Tingkhong Constituency): Power, Cultural Affairs, Tourism, and Sports & Youth Welfare.

Above mentioned portfolios will be officially handed in the first cabinet meeting on Tuesday, i.e., 11th May, 2021.
